About us
Marcin and the Mile crew. One mission: get you off the side of the road safely, quickly, and without sticker shock.
Owner to confirm at kickoff. The story below is a template placeholder — capture during interview: founding year, founding moment, why towing specifically, what changed, what stays the same.
Mile Towing started
[YEAR] in Englewood. Marcin had spent
[N] years driving for
[PREVIOUS OPERATOR / CONTEXT] and saw the same pattern over and over: cash-only operators showing up late, charging double on arrival, sketchy hook-and-chain on a $40k Audi. He bought a flatbed, told his family he was going solo, and put his name on the truck.
Today the crew runs 24/7 across two counties. The truck count is still small enough that Marcin knows every call. The pricing is still the price you got on the phone. The hook-and-chain is still in storage, because every tow goes on the flatbed.
Three things make us different from every other tow operator in SW Florida.
1
Family-run
Marcin answers most calls himself.
The dispatcher is family. The truck has his name on it. When something goes wrong, you talk to him — not a call center in another state.
2
Flatbed for everything
We only run flatbeds. Why: hook-and-chain damages low-clearance cars, drivetrains, and bumpers. Flatbed costs a little more on equipment — but it costs you zero in repairs.
3
Transparent pricing
Quote on the phone — that's the quote at the scene. No "arrival fee" surprise, no "weight upgrade" on the bill. If we got it wrong on the phone, we eat the difference.
